Virtual Box And Banner Grabbing with Netcat

Learn to install wine/virtual box or any other equivalend s/w on the host os. Perform an experiment to grab a banner with telnet and perform the task using Netcat.

Concept:  virtual box is an open source software which is used to install any  operating system on host OS. We can run any operating system virtually without installing it internally in system.

Demo: here I will show a demo on virtual box using and installation and demo of netcat banner grabbing.

·       Install the software oracle virtual box

·       Open virtual box from desktop icon

·       Click on ‘new’

·       Enter your Virtual OS name

·       ProvideRAM for OS

·       Create virtual hard disk

·       Hard disk file type select

·       Storage on physical hard disk

·       Give file allocation and size

·       Virtual OS has been created
